Building Communities
The UnitingCare South Australia office is located within the Uniting Church SA Presbytery and Synod Office and provides support to the work of UnitingCare agencies and schools through the following activities;
Synergy coordinates the common purchasing and contracting requirements of the Uniting Church and UnitingCare agencies and schools to obtain the best value on a range of goods and services. Synergy's goal is to ensure the good stewardship of scarce resources.
Gatherings
UnitingCare South Australia facilitates regular gatherings of agencies and schools, as a whole, and in service areas. These are opportunities to resource and support each other and share common interests.
UnitingCare South Australia also coordinates the Annual Commissioning Service for CEOs, Principals, board and council members. This is an opportunity to formally recognise the commitment of those involved in agencies and schools and commission them for the year ahead.
Each UnitingCare agency and school is governed by a board or council. UnitingCare is committed to ensuring each board and council is supported to fulfil its responsibilities to the best of its ability. This includes providing access to resources and training in the ethos of the Uniting Church and governance.

We believe community is made up of you and me and us and them and together, we can make a difference.
Hold a Pancake Day event anytime during February at your home, school, workplace, church or club. Donations and funds raised from Pancake Day events will support local UnitingCare agencies in their work to alleviate poverty and disadvantage in communities state-wide.
Christmas Appeal
Help us bring a little joy to those less fortunate at Christmas by donating a gift underneath the UnitingCare Christmas trees at your nearest Target or Target Country store. Every donation counts as we continue to give hope to people in need.
Volunteer
UnitingCare offers a great range of volunteering opportunities within its networks. There is something for everyone. Let us know where your interests lie and we'll link you with an agency or school where your support will be welcomed.
Uniting Director provides an opportunity for people wishing to serve on a Uniting Church board or council to register their interest and be matched with UnitingCare agencies and schools seeking their skills.
